Requesting Your First Video
The Short Version
Once you have a client and a campaign in place, you ship your first video by creating a creative inside that campaign and submitting it. Here is the full path:
- Open the client from the dashboard or the Clients page.
- Open the campaign from the client's campaigns page.
- Click New Creative inside the campaign.
- Fill in the creative (product showcase, persona, dialogue) using the canvas the campaign already prepared.
- Review the credit cost shown on the submit screen.
- Click Submit.
Your creative now sits in our production queue. Status updates land on the dashboard and in your email.
What a Creative Is
A creative is one finished video. It lives inside a campaign and inherits the campaign's product info and research. On top of that, each creative has its own:
- Product showcase brief. The on screen story for this specific video.
- Persona. The look, voice, age, energy, and overall vibe of the actor.
- Dialogue. The actual lines spoken.
- Reference images. The main product image plus any extra reference shots for context, palette, or styling.
You can produce as many creatives as you want in a single campaign. Different creatives let you test different hooks, presenter styles, or angles for the same product. Many customers create three to five creatives per campaign and treat them as a built in A/B test on Meta or TikTok.
Building a Creative
When you click New Creative, the campaign canvas loads. Most of the heavy lifting has already happened in the campaign's research step, so you are editing rather than writing from scratch.
- Product showcase is prefilled with a short scene description. Edit the text to match the angle you want for this specific video.
- Persona is pulled from our persona library. Pick one that fits your audience, or generate a new one. You can fine tune any field on the persona before submitting.
- Dialogue lists the hook and the body of the script. Edit any line directly, or click the regenerate button to get a fresh variation.
- References show the main product image and any extras. Add more if you want our model to see palette or styling cues.
You ship one creative per submit. To test multiple angles, create multiple creatives in the same campaign.
Credit Cost
Each creative costs a fixed number of credits from the client this campaign belongs to. The exact cost is displayed on the submit screen before you confirm.
If you do not have enough credits to cover the submit, the button stays disabled and a prompt offers an upgrade or a one time credit reload. You cannot submit a creative without enough credits.
Credits sit on the client, not on your account. If the campaign you are working in is for the wrong client, switching clients changes the credit balance you draw from.
For the full credit cost breakdown, see Understanding Credit Costs.
What Happens After You Submit
When you submit a creative, three things happen:
- The creative enters production. Our team reviews the brief and runs it through our hybrid pipeline (real talent recorded under direction plus AI for scale).
- Credits deduct from the client's balance. This happens at submit time, not at delivery, so you always know exactly what your balance is.
- The creative shows up on your dashboard. The campaign's status column reflects the live state ("research", "production", "delivered"). The Recent Deliveries table on the dashboard surfaces the delivered ones for every client at once.
You do not need to take any action while a creative is in production. We email you the moment it lands.
The 24 Hour Turnaround
RealityMold delivers within 24 hours of submission for standard creatives across every plan.
Why 24 hours? Unlike fully automated video generators, our pipeline pairs real talent with AI. Real people record the on camera moments, our team handles editing and quality checks, and the AI handles scale and consistency. The result feels authentic because real humans are in the loop. The trade is a short queue time instead of an instant generation.
Once your creative is delivered, you can review it, approve it, request adjustments, or download the final file. The review and approval flow is covered in How to Review Delivered Videos.
A Note on Credit Refresh
Plan credits refresh on your client's billing date each month. Unused credits do not roll over to the next cycle, so plan submissions to make the most of each month's allocation. If you are about to renew and still have credits left, it is worth shipping the extra creatives now rather than letting them expire.
