Creating Your First Client
What Is a Client?
A client in RealityMold represents a brand, company, or workspace you create video content for. Every campaign you run and every video you ship lives under a specific client. Credits, plans, and billing are all attached to the client, not to your account as a whole.
If you create content for your own brand, you typically have one client. If you run an agency or manage multiple brands, you create a separate client for each one. There is no cap on the number of clients you can add.
Think of clients as separate workspaces. Each one has its own subscription, its own credit balance, and its own campaigns. Nothing crosses over between them.
Your First Client Is Created During Signup
When you signed up for RealityMold, you were asked to name your first client right there in the signup form (the field is labeled "First client name"). The account, the first client, and the subscription are created together as part of checkout. By the time you land on the dashboard for the first time, your first client already exists.
If you skipped the optional details during signup (website, brand description), you can add them later from the client's settings page.
Adding Another Client
To add a second (or third, or tenth) client:
- From the dashboard, click Create New Client, or open the Clients page from the sidebar and click the create button there.
- Fill in the form. Three fields are visible:
- Client Name (required). The brand name as you want it referenced inside RealityMold and on invoices.
- Website URL (optional). The brand's website. If you skip the
https://part, the app adds it for you. - Description (optional, up to 1000 characters). A short brand summary. Helpful context for the team and useful for our AI research step when you create campaigns.
- Click Continue to Plan.
- Pick a plan and billing cadence for this new client. Every client gets its own subscription. The plan you picked for an earlier client does not roll forward.
- If you already have a saved payment method, the subscription starts immediately and you are dropped into the new client's welcome flow. If not, you go through Stripe Checkout to enter card details first.
The new client will appear on your dashboard and in the Clients page right after subscription confirms.
Editing a Client Later
Every client has a settings page. From the Clients page, click into the client, then look for the settings entry inside that client's surface. You can update the name, the website, and the description at any time.
You can also adjust the plan, change the payment method, and view invoices from the client's billing settings.
Managing Multiple Clients
Your Clients page lists every client you own. Each card shows the name, the current plan, and the live credit balance. Click a card to enter that client's workspace.
A few things to keep in mind when you manage multiple clients:
- Credits do not pool. Credits earned by one client cannot be spent on another. Plan accordingly when picking subscriptions for each brand.
- Campaigns are scoped to a client. When you create a campaign, it lives inside the client you opened first. You cannot move a campaign across clients after the fact.
- Notification emails are per campaign. Each campaign keeps its own list of people who get updates. If you want a brand manager to see every video for a brand, add them to every campaign for that client.
For ongoing client management including editing and deletion, see How to Create and Manage Clients. Once your client is set up, your next move is to create your first campaign and ship your first video. See Requesting Your First Video.
