What Is an Auto Campaign
The Short Version
An Auto Campaign is a faster way to go from brand guidelines to a set of ready concepts. You hand us what you know about your brand, tell us how many concepts you want, and we draft them for you. You then review each one, approve the keepers, and send the approved concepts into a normal campaign for production.
Think of it as a concept drafting room. Instead of writing each creative brief by hand, you steer a batch of them at once and keep the ones you like.
When to Use an Auto Campaign
Reach for an Auto Campaign when:
- You want several creative angles quickly and would rather edit than start from a blank page.
- You have brand docs (a brand guide, a product one pager, past briefs) and want them turned into concepts.
- You are exploring directions before committing to a full production run.
Use a standard campaign instead when you already know the exact creative you want and would rather write the single brief yourself. The two live side by side in the same list, so you can run both.
How to Tell the Two Apart
On a client's Campaigns page, every row carries a tag:
- Auto campaign variation concept creation (teal tag) is a concept drafting workspace like the one this guide covers.
- Campaign (grey tag) is a standard campaign, including any campaign that was created when you sent approved concepts to production.
That way you always know which kind of workspace you are opening.
The Stages
An Auto Campaign moves through a few stages. Each has its own article.
| Step | What You Do |
|---|---|
| 1 | Create the Auto Campaign from the client's Campaigns page |
| 2 | Provide your guidelines by uploading brand docs or filling the fields, then generate |
| 3 | Review and approve concepts, reorder them, and regenerate any that miss |
| 4 | Export the briefs as DOCX or PDF if you want to share them |
| 5 | Send approved concepts to production, which creates a campaign you can submit from |
You do not have to do them all in one sitting. Guidelines and approvals save as you go, so you can leave and come back.
What It Costs
Drafting concepts uses tokens: 20 tokens per concept. Ten concepts is 200 tokens. On the scale and enterprise plans, concept drafting is included at no token charge. See Auto Campaign Costs and Tokens for the full breakdown.
If You Do Not See It
Auto Campaigns are rolled out per workspace. If you do not see a New Auto Campaign button on your Campaigns page, the feature is not enabled for your workspace yet. Ask your account manager if you want it turned on.
