Creating an Auto Campaign
Where to Start
- Open the client you want to work in. You can click a client card on your dashboard or a client name on the Clients page.
- You land on that client's Campaigns page.
- Click New Auto Campaign at the top of the page.
The New Auto Campaign button sits next to the standard New Campaign button. If you only see New Campaign, Auto Campaigns are not enabled for your workspace yet. Ask your account manager.
Campaigns belong to the client you create them in and cannot be moved later, so pick the right client before you click in.
The Create Form
The create screen is titled New Auto Campaign, with a line underneath: "Give us your guidelines and we draft your creative concepts for you to approve and refine."
The form itself is short. Two fields are required.
Campaign Name (required). A short internal label for your own organization. Something like "Acme Spring Concepts" or "Glow Serum Angle Test". This name shows up in your campaign list and, later, in the name of any production campaign you create from your approved concepts.
Product Name (required). The product you are advertising, written the way your customers see it. Use "Hydrating Face Serum" rather than "Product A". This is the name that ends up spoken and shown in the concepts.
Research URLs (optional, up to five). Product pages, landing pages, or competitor pages that help ground the work. You can add these now or lean on your guidelines instead. Even one strong URL helps.
Notification Emails (optional). Everyone on this list gets progress updates. Your own email is always included. Add teammates or your account manager if they should follow along.
Submitting
Click Create Campaign at the bottom. The button stays disabled until both Campaign Name and Product Name are filled in. The label reads Create Campaign for both auto and standard campaigns, so do not worry that it does not say "auto" here. The mode was already set when you clicked New Auto Campaign.
Once you submit, the Auto Campaign is created and you land inside it, on the guidelines screen. That is the next step.
