Managing Your Subscription and Payment Method

Credits and Billing2 min read

The Billing Management Page

The Billing page is your central hub for everything related to your subscription and payments. Access it by clicking Billing in the sidebar navigation.

At the top of the page, you will see your current plan name, credit allocation, and the start and end dates of your current billing cycle. Below that, your payment method on file is displayed, showing the card type and last four digits. All subscription and payment actions are available directly from this page, including plan upgrades, payment updates, and billing frequency changes.

Updating Your Payment Method

To change the card on file, click Update Payment Method on the billing page. This redirects you to a secure Stripe-hosted form where you can enter your new card details. Once you confirm, the new card becomes your active payment method for all future charges, including subscription renewals.

Your previous card is removed automatically after the update. There is no need to delete it manually. If you need to verify that the change went through, return to the billing page and check that the displayed card details match your new payment method. Payment method updates take effect immediately, so your next charge will use the new card.

Switching Between Monthly and Annual Billing

Annual plans offer a 10% discount compared to monthly billing on all standard tiers. If you are currently on a monthly plan and want to take advantage of the savings, click Change Billing Frequency on the billing page.

When switching from monthly to annual, the annual rate applies at your next renewal date. You are billed for the full year at the discounted rate, and your credit allocation stays the same.

When switching from annual to monthly, the change takes effect at the end of your current annual term. You will not be charged the monthly rate until the annual period expires, so there is no penalty or early termination fee.

For a detailed comparison of pricing and savings, see Annual vs. Monthly Billing. If you are also considering moving to a higher tier, see Upgrading Your Plan.
