Where to Find Messages in the Platform
Messages Overview Page
The Messages page gives you a single view of every conversation across all your video requests. Access it by clicking Messages in the sidebar navigation. From here, you can see all threads listed with the associated product name and request details, making it easy to find a specific conversation without navigating to individual requests.
Threads are sorted with the most recent activity at the top. Unread threads are visually highlighted so you can spot new replies at a glance without scrolling through your entire history. This centralized view is especially useful if you have multiple active video requests and want to catch up on all communication in one place.
Per-Request Message Threads
Every video request has its own dedicated message thread. To access it, navigate to any video request's detail page and scroll to the Messages section. The full conversation history for that request is displayed in chronological order, giving you complete context for that particular production.
This is the same thread that appears on the Messages overview page, just accessed from a different entry point. Whether you start from the overview or from a request detail page, you are reading and replying in the same conversation. This means you never need to worry about messages getting lost between different views.
Unread Indicators
When your account manager sends a new message, an unread indicator appears next to Messages in the sidebar navigation. Individual threads also display an unread badge until you open and view the new message. Opening the thread clears the unread status automatically.
In addition to the in-platform indicators, you receive an email notification each time your account manager replies. The email includes a preview of the message and a direct link to the conversation thread, so you can jump straight to the discussion from your inbox.
