Working with the Persona Library
What the Library Is
Every client on RealityMold has a persona library. Every persona photo you create for that client lands in the library automatically. Two ways photos get there:
- Generated from the persona drawer (a fresh image based on your gender, age range, personality, and notes).
- Uploaded directly by you (a real human photo, a previously delivered persona reference, or a styled image you already have).
The library is scoped per client. Two clients have two separate libraries. Nothing crosses over. Each persona stays tied to the brand it was originally created for.
Where to Find It
Open any creative inside the client's campaigns, then go to the image picker (the step where you choose the on screen presenter). Inside the picker you will see a section labelled "From this client's persona library".
Below the heading, a count tells you how many persona photos sit in the library. If the count is zero, the library has not collected anything yet. Generate one in the persona drawer or upload one and it will appear here.
Filtering and Browsing
The library can grow fast for an active client. Two filters help you find what you want:
- Gender filter. Toggle between All, Male, and Female. The filter is metadata only; the underlying persona photos themselves are not changed.
- Tier filter (when relevant). Some clients accumulate both Standard and Premium tier photos. The tier filter lets you narrow.
Scroll through the grid. Each tile shows the persona photo. Click a tile to select it as the persona for this creative.
How Picking from the Library Works
Picking a persona from the library tells the AI to use that specific photo as the visual anchor for the on screen presenter on this creative.
Picking is reversible. Click a different tile to swap. Click the same tile again to deselect. Until you submit the creative, the choice is fluid.
A few practical notes:
- The persona drawer fields update too. Picking a library photo associated with a previous gender or age range syncs those structured fields. You can override them after picking.
- The library is not a saved configuration. It is a photo with the persona metadata that was used when the photo was made. The dialogue, the showcase clips, and the product step settings of the original creative are not pulled in.
- A library photo can be reused unlimited times across different creatives. There is no exclusive lock.
Generating New Persona Photos
When the library does not have what you need, generate a new batch from the persona drawer. Each batch produces multiple persona images per click, and every image lands in the library automatically. For the full walkthrough, see Generating Persona Images.
Uploading Your Own Persona Photos
If you already have a real human photo that fits the brand, you can upload it directly. The image enters the persona library and behaves identically to a generated one. Useful when:
- You have your own talent (founder photo, employee photo, brand ambassador).
- You want to anchor on a specific look that the generator did not produce.
- You are recreating a winning creative and have the original persona file.
Uploads accept JPEG, PNG, or WebP.
Why the Library Is Per Client
The persona library mirrors how teams actually work. Each client is a separate brand. A persona that fits one brand often does not fit another. Keeping libraries separate prevents accidental cross brand use and keeps the picker focused on what is relevant for the brand you are currently working in.
If you operate multiple brands as an agency, expect each brand to grow its own library over time. See Managing an Agency Workspace for tips on running multiple libraries efficiently.
Cleanup and Maintenance
The library does not require cleanup. Persona photos accumulate harmlessly; the filters handle scale.
If you want to keep the library tidy, the practical move is: skip generating new personas when an existing library entry would work. Reuse a strong winner across creatives in the same campaign rather than generating from scratch each time.
