Troubleshooting Auto Campaigns
Some Fields Did Not Fill From My Docs
After processing brand docs you may see something like "Filled 6 of 9 sections." That is normal. We only fill a field when your documents actually contain that information. If your brand guide never mentions goals, the Goals field stays empty.
What to do:
- Fill the missing fields in yourself. They are all editable after processing.
- Or add another document that covers what was missing, then process again.
You do not need all nine filled to generate. Even a few strong fields give us plenty to work from.
A Document Would Not Read
If a file cannot be read, we tell you and the rest of your work is untouched. Common causes are scanned image only PDFs, password protected files, or an upload that dropped.
What to do:
- Try a different file, ideally a text based PDF, a DOCX, Markdown, or plain text.
- Check the file is under 20MB and in an accepted format.
- If it still will not read, skip the upload and write the fields in yourself. Every field is optional.
The Generate Button Is Disabled
Generate my campaign stays off until at least one guideline has content. If it is disabled, add at least one field or upload and process a doc first. If you see a prompt to confirm your guidelines, review the fields and continue.
A Concept Says Needs Fixes
A Needs fixes tag means a concept has something that has to be corrected before it can go to production. Open the card to see how many issues there are and what they are. You have two clean options:
- Regenerate the concept for a fresh version.
- Reject it if the angle is not for you.
A concept marked Needs fixes cannot be sent to production until it is valid, so do not approve and try to send it as is.
I Got Fewer Concepts Than I Asked For
Sometimes a batch comes back short, for example "8 of 10 concepts." The model occasionally produces fewer than the target. Use the Target control and the Generate more button to draft the difference. If a top up run adds nothing, we say the model may need another try. Run it again.
The Send Button Is Disabled or Errors
- If Send to production is disabled, nothing is sendable right now. A concept is only sendable when it is approved and not yet sent. Approve at least one valid concept.
- "Could not send to production. Try again." is temporary. Try again.
- If we could not move your concepts into a new campaign, your approvals are still safe on the Auto Campaign. Try again, or contact your account manager if it persists.
My Reorder Did Not Stick
If saving a new order fails you will see "Could not save the new order. Try again," and the order rolls back to where it was. Nothing is lost. Move the card again. If it keeps failing, refresh the page and retry.
Best Practices for Stronger Concepts
Give us real guidelines. The more you put in the fields, or the better your brand docs, the closer the first draft lands. A blank run works but has little to steer from.
Lead with your audience and your offer. Target audience, pain points, and top benefits do the most to shape a concept. If you only fill three fields, make them those.
Start with a modest batch. Five to ten concepts is usually enough to find a direction. Generate more once you see what works, rather than paying for a large batch up front.
Rank before you send. Set your priority order so the concepts you care most about lead in the production campaign.
Send in batches. Approve and send your strongest picks first, produce them, then come back for the rest. Each send makes its own campaign, so this keeps runs tidy.
If something is not covered here, message your account manager from the campaign workspace. The flow is safe to retry, so no single misstep costs you the campaign.
